Can You Use Other Products When Taking Smokeless CBD?

Updated September 6th, 2020

Every once in a while, a new CBD product is developed that changes the way in which we consume hemp.  Right now, the product that everyone is talking about is smokeless CBD, which is also known as CBD snuff.  This type of product has the potential to be highly bioavailable, which is good news for those who want to absorb as much of those exciting plant compounds as possible.

Given the potentially high potency of smokeless CBD, it’s only natural that a lot of users want to know whether or not it’s okay to take CBD snuff along with other CBD products.  After all, a lot of us are, by now, very devoted to our hemp gummies, our nightly oral tinctures or those soothing topicals.

CBD Snuff: The Basics

First, let’s quickly break down what CBD snuff is so that you can understand how it may interact with other hemp-based products.  CBD snuff is a relatively sticky substance that comes in a jar or a pouch.  The user pinches a small amount of the snuff and sticks it in the space between their cheek and their gum, and they leave it there for a while before spitting it out.  This type of delivery method is unique in that it has the potential to be extremely bioavailable.  Basically, the tissue lining that area is highly absorbent, allowing the compounds to reach the brain quickly and potently rather than getting partially metabolized before proper absorption.  Therefore, many find that CBD snuff provides a highly potent hemp experience.

Can You Take CBD Snuff Along with Other CBD Products?

In short, yes, you can.

We know that CBD is non-toxic to humans, and that we can take very high amounts of hemp on a regular basis due to the way in which these compounds work with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Therefore, you can take two or more CBD products within a short period of time.

The Absorption Rate Varies from Product to Product

If you wish to combine CBD products, bear in mind that each type of delivery method has its own unique rate of absorption.  We are referring to the length of time before those compounds become active within the body.  For example, as you may know, CBD peaks in the system much more quickly when you vape it compared to when you consume it in the form of an edible.  So, taking two different types of CBD products at once doesn’t mean that all of the hemp that you consumed will peak at the same exact time.

Dosage and Strength Matter

Of course, how strong your CBD experience will be after consuming multiple types of products has a lot to do with the milligram strength of each product, as well as the size of your dose of each.  Obviously, taking very high doses of both CBD snuff and a tincture will give you a stronger hemp experience than taking very low doses of each type of product.

When considering mixing different CBD products, remind yourself of your ultimate goals with CBD.  Some people desire very high doses of hemp each day because they have a specific reason for taking hemp in the first place.

Be Aware of the Type of Extract in Each

If you’re trying to stick to one type of extract, whether it be broad spectrum, full spectrum or CBD isolate, make sure that each type of product that you take has the same one.  Or, you can experiment with mixing different types of extracts throughout the day if you so choose.

Quality of Each Product is Important

We can never talk enough about the importance of going for quality with all of your CBD products.  It’s so important that you choose your products wisely.  This means finding a trustworthy manufacturer and looking for lab results to confirm that each product is pure and high in quality.

Final Thoughts…

If you wanna take CBD snuff along with your other hemp or cannabinoid-based products at Pure CBD Now, we suggest that you go right ahead.  We all respond to CBD in unique ways, and different methods seem to produce different results altogether.  Therefore, experiment with different combinations of products if you so choose.
